snoopstar as partner at the Metro Marathon Düsseldorf
We are delighted that snoopstar was able to be an exclusive partner at the 17th Metro Marathon. The sports event became a digital experience for participants and visitors. Around 20,000 athletes from almost 90 nations took part. About 60,000 spectators came to cheer on the runners. With our augmented reality app, they could learn even more about the event and be impressed by the 3D optics. The banners along the route as well as various displays and posters provided access to videos, pictures and stories about the run, for example. We also produced snoopable flyers that automatically played videos and contained virtual navigation buttons. The app was also tested live at our own stand on the upper bank of the Rhine.
